The Spring Festival
【第1句】： Id like to introduce the Spring Festival to you. 我想向你介绍春节。
I want to tell you something about the Spring Festival.我想要告诉你一些关于春节的事情。
【第2句】： It is the most important festival in China.它是中国最重要的节日。
【第3句】： It is usually in January or February. 春节通常在1月或者2月。
It usually comes in February，but sometimes it comes in January. 春节通常在1月，但有时候在2月。
【第4句】： It usually lasts for 15 days. 春节通常是15天。
Before the Spring Festival, we clean the house and sweep the floor. 春节前，我们会打扫房间和扫地。
It means sweeping away bad luck. 大扫除意味着扫除霉运。
We buy lots of things for the festival, such as meat, chicken, fish, fruit, vegetables, sweets and so on.我们会为春节买很多年货，例如肉、鸡肉、鱼肉、水果、蔬菜、糖果等等。
【第5句】： On the eve of Spring Festival, family members get together and then have a big dinner. 在除夕，家人们会聚在一起吃一顿丰盛的晚餐。
【第6句】： After dinner, we watch a special programme on TV.晚餐之后，我们在电视上观看一档特别的节目。
【第7句】： We set off fireworks at night. We decorate house with paper cuttings and lanterns. 我们在晚上放烟花。我们用剪纸和灯笼装饰房子。
【第8句】： During the Spring Festival, children wear new clothes. And they can get lucky money from parents and relatives. 孩子们在春节穿新衣服。并且他们会从父母和亲戚那里收到压岁钱。
【第9句】： We visit our relatives and friends and say good wishes to everyone. 我们拜访亲戚和朋友，我们对每个人说祝福语。
【第10句】： There are many interesting activities at the Spring Festival. We have a wonderful time at the Spring Festival.在春节有很多有趣的活动。我们在春节过得很愉快。
