  Ⅰ. 1. 【解析】选A。

“is widely considered the first step toward a successful future”是非限制性定语从句, 从句中缺少主语, 故选which, 指代逗号前面的to get into a top university。

  4. 【解析】选A。 put sth. into practice意为“把某事付诸实践”, 分析语境可以推出this kind of method与put之间是被动关系, 因此该空用过去分词作条件状语。

The car burns more fuel, butall things into consideration it is still a good car.

  A. taken B. having taken

  C. taking

  D. to take

take sth. into consideration“把……

  6. 【解析】选A。

in the past year为现在完成时标志, 因此该空应填has robbed。

  8. 【解析】选A。

There is mud and water everywhere, making it difficult to travel from place to place.

(本句中making it difficult to travel from place to place作结果状语, 表示前面发生的事情“到处都是泥和积水”所产生的自然而然的结果)。

For nearly four hours they waited for the result, only to be told to come again the next day.

(only to be told to come again the next day作结果状语, 表示出乎意料的结果)。

  11. 【解析】选A。
