Mother’s Day is a day that we express our sincere thanks to our mother. It first started from ancient Greek, then the Americans decided that the second Sunday of May is Mother’s Day.
On this special day, the mothers will receive presents from their children. The gifts could be anything. It is a way that the children show their love and care to their mothers.
As students, we don’t have too much money to buy expensive gifts for our mothers, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t do anything to express our thanks to them. We can do something，too.
I have a few suggestions. For example, you can make a breakfast for your mother, or make a card for her. You can also do some cleaning to reduce mother’s pressure.
We can use our lucky money to buy a single carnation. What’s more, we can turn to fathers for help, I think our fathers will be willing to give us some help about what to do on Mother’s Day.
The chief thing to remember is that Mother’s Day is aimed to spend more time with our mother, and appreciate what she has done for the whole family.
I think every mother is great, and everybody should do something to let our mothers know that we love her.

母亲节是我们向母亲表达真诚谢意的节日。母亲节最早起源于古希腊，随后美国人将5月的第二个星期天定为母亲节。
在这个特别的日子，母亲会收到孩子们的礼物——礼物可以送任何东西。这是孩子们向母亲表达自己的爱与关心的日子。
作为学生，我们没有太多的钱去买很贵重的礼物。但这并不意味着我们不能为自己的妈妈做些什么来表达我们的谢意。我们确实有事情可做。
我有些建议。例如说，为自己的妈妈做一份早餐，或者为她做一张卡片。也可以帮助妈妈做一些家务，减轻她的负担。

最需要铭记的是母亲节的目的在于花更多的时间来陪伴母亲，对她为这个家所做出的一切表示感激。我认为每个妈妈都很棒，每个人都应该做些什么来让自己的母亲知道我们爱她。

The day before Mother’s Day, everybody around me was talking about what gifts they would buy to their beloved mothers. Buying flowers is what most students will do, others buy chocolates.
While for me, I want to do something different, as I live in school and can’t go back home on Mother’s Day, I decide to make a call to her, sending her my warmest wishes.
I am so nervous now and have no idea what to say. I search the Internet for some suggestions. It is very useful for me. Many wonderful words are presented in front of my eyes. I read them one by one.
As I decide to copy these words, suddenly I feel there is no meaning for saying someone else’s words. So I give up, I will tell my mother that I love her and thank her for the things she has done for me.
在母亲节的前一天，我周围的每个人都在谈论买什么礼物给自己心爱的母亲。买花是大多数学生会做的事情，另外一些人买巧克力。但我想做些点不一样的事情。
因为我住在学校，不能在母亲节那天回家，我决定给她打个电话送上我最温暖的祝福。我现在很紧张，不知道说什么好。
我在网络上搜索了一些建议，这对我来说是非常有用的，许多美妙的词呈现在我眼前。我一个接一个地看完了。

In the early morning, my sister went out and brought home a bunch of pretty flowers. Right after my mother got up out of bed, we said "Happy Mothers ! " to her and gave her the flowers. My mother was very happy; she smiled and said,"How wonderful the flowers look! Thank you!”
Also, we told her we were going to do all the housework for our beloved mother, and she could take a rest for a day. In the beginning, we were excited about all the work we can do at home. Before long, we found that the housework seemed to be endless. There was cooking and washing, and cleaning to do, and there was shopping to do, too.
During the dinner hour, the kitchen seemed so busy. My father was making a salad. My sister was baking a pie for dessert, and I was washing rice and vegetables. There were still many other things to do. Finally, the dinner was ready; it was two hours behind the usual schedule. The food was not as delicious as my mothers.
Nevertheless, my mother and father enjoyed it, and felt very proud of their daughter and son.
清晨，姐姐出去买了一束漂亮的花回家。妈妈一起床，我们就对她说“母亲节快乐!”，并把花送给了她。妈妈非常高兴，她笑着说:“这些花多么好看啊!谢谢你们!”

Dear Mum,
Such is sons’ nature; I really do not know how to express my thanks to you.
However, I can imagine, on the day 18 years ago, when you gave birth to me, what a complex feeling you had.
In the past few years, every day you struggle me up in the morning and prepare breakfast for me, then in the afternoon, you always welcome your only son with delicious foods after a day’s hard work.
Now your son has been 18 and will go to university soon, like a bird is leaving its parents. Nevertheless, your footprints on my heart will never ever fade and I love you mum!

What a beautiful day for Mothers Day. On this day, people in all countries of the world offer their mothers the most sincere blessing. This day is a holiday for all mothers on earth. On this day, we bless our great mother together.
Its a fleeting moment, and its more than a dozen years of life. In those years, there are always one pair who are no longer young but always silently watching your eyes behind them.
However, I sometimes do not understand my mother and leave her alone. In high school, I had to run three times every day in school and at home. The time for dinner every afternoon seems to be very tight. Several times I hurried home, but the meal was not done well. When I wait for meals, I keep mumbling, never thinking about my mothers feelings. So selfish all the time, I never felt a trace of guilt.
Until that Saturday, I saw my mothers hard work. After lunch, she was busy washing the dishes. Her face was dripping with sweat, and she had almost no time to sit on the bench.
