If teachers like to listen to their students, they will find it easier to tailor their teaching to the students' needs. Being a good listener is more than listening with head nodding. From my perspective, you should pay attention to the speaker's body language, for it presents the speaker's feeling and emotions. In addition, eye contact is necessary, but you remember neither to make too much nor too little, or it may cause misunderstanding.
